Sends TV Signals and IR Control Signals Over One Coax Cable!
The Xtra Link2 system provides full remote control operation of a satellite receiver, cable box or VCR from a second room by sharing the coaxial cable connecting your video equipment to this second room's TV. Place the IR Receiver on top of the remote room TV. The IR Injector supplies TV signals to the television and "injects" the IR commands into the coax cable. The Xtra Link system uses the coax cable that carries the TV RF signal from the source equipment in the main room to the remote room, to send the IR control signals back to the source equipment. The coaxial cable may be up to one mile in length.
Need to hook up a third room?
Use the Xtra Links2 Xpansion Kit. It includes all the parts you need to successfully watch and control a video device from a third room. Specifically, the kit includes an infrared receiver, a INJ94 injector, DC power supply, and two short coax jumper cables with RF connectors. Like all the TVs connected to the Xtra Link2 system, the expansion room will also have to view the same program as the first two TVs.
Add the Bypass Kit when you don't have a straight-through coax between the Iinjector and the Coupler. The By-Pass Kit will be needed if a spiltter or amplifier is in line.
